Thank you for taking an interest in Coastal Home Inspections. My name is Cody Briggs and I understand how important it is for buyers to have an educated and licensed Home Inspector. As the founder of Coastal Home Inspections, I will personally be there to assist you with your potential home buying decision.

I believe that in order to be a qualified inspector, that you MUST have construction experience.  How could you possibly know the in's and out's of the structure, if you have never seen one put together?  We have all taken the same little courses and same little tests.  The difference is in the Experience and Customer Service.  Coastal Home Inspections delivers both.

I have been supervising multi million dollar projects for the last 17 years.  I oversee the construction from the first bulldozer until there are dishes in the cabinets.  I am confident that there is not an inspector that could possibly be more qualified than myself.  I have taken thousands of hours of continuous education throughout the years along with being in Architectural Digest with three buildings that I have supervised.  Make sure to ask Experience and Qualifications when interviewing inspectors.  We have all taken the same classes.  Ask for construction background.  There may be a carpenter, a plumber, an electrician, however, see if any have overseen every aspect of the building process.
